Finally more normal temps take hold as the weather and bite heats up. We've been doing some night catfishing and have had some exciting results. Stripers to 30 inches mixed with Catfish to about 12 pounds. December Shad and bluegill are the key for us. The panfish are showing in better numbers now that the weather has has warmed a bit.

| When I asked my kids what their favorite creature was, "Stitch" from Disney's "Lilo and Stitch", was their answer. Jim Carrey in the "Grinch", was my wife's response. But if you ask a die hard bass fisherman what their favorite creature is, I doubt their answer will be that of some Hollywood screenwriters imagination. |

Big baits on the surface can be a blast here on the Delta, especially as the fall run gets underway. Stripers have been known to Blast on big baits that swim, pop and walk, though the remainder of the battle is always at or below the surface, when attacking a lure from below, a striper may emerge completely from its watery confines. |
