It’s official!  

West Valley BassMasters of Tracy heartily invites you to attend The 2007 Northern California Cub Classic.  This year’s event will launch out of Russo’s Marina of Bethel Island on the amazing California Delta at first safe light on October 14, 2007.  All Northern California bass fishing clubs are invited to attend, regardless of federation affiliation.  Heck, we’ll even talk to the southerners if they’re serious.  But be forewarned: we here in the North take our fishin’ pretty seriously.

The success of the 2006 version of this must-do event dictates that we do it all over again!  Many of the rules that applied to the 2006 version will still be in effect and sponsors are already coming on board.  This is a 100% payback event that is bringing the best anglers from California clubs and putting them on one of the nations’ top-rated fisheries! 

In addition to the prize money, there will be shirts and/or hats, prizes, plaques, outstanding food, music, and all the great things that this tournament has become.  Last year we put 11 clubs for a total of 66 boats on the water.  This year we’re looking for 90 boats!  Remember, the more anglers we get, the more the sponsors want to get involved!  Cooch did an outstanding job as the Master of Ceremonies and will be returning for an encore. 

Please get your club to sign up early for this one.  As always, any help we can get from the clubs in the way of sponsorships is greatly appreciated.  There are plenty of sponsor opportunities and we’re making great efforts to make our sponsors proud!  Contact us for details and we’ll send along a sponsor kit.
